Part of the larger Canyon Creek neighborhood, Prairie Creek is located approximately between Campbell to a little South of Lookout Drive (North & South) and West of 75 to Custer Rd. (East & West).  Prairie Creek is known for being a little more prestigious, as it can be quite difficult to find a home for sale in this Richardson, TX neighborhood.  Homes in this area were built primarily in the 1960s, but there is also a pocket of 1990s homes. In addition, around 2009, many new homes started popping up in this area, a trend which continues today. Located approximately just South of Lookout Rd to Renner Rd (North & South) and West of 75 to Floyd (East & West), this part of Canyon Creek is still a Richardson address but it actually feeds into Plano Independent School District.  Aldridge Elementary is the public elementary school that services this part of the neighborhood.  This is a desirable area with a highly rated school, just keep in mind that homes for sale in this part of Richardson are not a part of the Richardson Independent School District (RISD).  If you are looking for a larger home at a reasonable price, you will have an easier time on this side of Canyon Creek. The Reservation is located approximately between Arapaho Rd. and Melrose (North & South) and between Waterivew Pkwy to Coit Rd.
